The purpose of Growing SMART (Sustainable Metropolitan Areas and Rural Towns) is to provide a variety of affordable professional consulting services to local governments, such as townships, counties, parishes, villages, towns, and cities, and national associations to help them grow sustainable metropolitan areas and rural towns. Our program is helping clients design sustainable programs that align with state, federal, foundation and corporate funding opportunities. Consulting services include grant writing, grant training, project design, engineering, eco-tourism, and community development. Examples of Growing SMART projects include bike trails, landscaping, graffiti removal, community branding and development, natural resource preservation, healthcare access, waste water treatment, alternative energy, and workforce development. Current clients Include National Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils, Navajo Nation Department of Tourism, Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and Texoma Council of Governments.
